Nokia has just officially introduced the Lumia 925, its latest Lumia series aluminum-clad design. Lumia 925 will be surrounded by a protective-coated aluminum, while the rear uses polycarbonate material, which looks like aluminum. At the front like previous Lumia, using glass materials, this design is a new design of Windows Phone from Nokia.

At the Lumia 925 camera is a bit obtrusive to maximize the thinness of the design. No changes in the lens Lumia 925 which adds to the lens-6 from the five existing plastic lenses, which improve the quality of the camera than the Lumia 920. Changes will also be merged with Nokia smart camera mode or Smart Camera mode, which became the main camera application with several advanced features. Nokia focuses on the sophistication of the camera in Lumia 925, just as the Lumia 920 and 928.

Lumia 925 Smart Camera features include Burst Shot take 10 images and edit them, Best Shot take the best shots in the burst shot, Action Shot sequential shots like Drama Shot in Samsung Galaxy S4 and Motion Focus add effects blur on a stationary object, and give it to one object that seemed to move.

Its specifications almost similar to the Lumia 920. Lumia 925 has the best processor to run Windows 8 with a dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait, 1GB RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, and 32GB. Lumia 925 screen measuring 4.5 inch OLED, with a resolution of 1280 x 768 and has been coated with Gorilla Glass 2. Microsoft Corp launched its first ever tablet computer, the Surface in a move to compete against Apple s highly successful iPad. Microsoft developed its own device to spur the growth of its touch friendly Windows 8 operating system which is going to launch by the end of the year. As compared to the iPad, the key difference is that Surface has a protective cover-cum-keyboard whereas iPad comes with virtual keyboard. Most users find the iPad s keyboard which senses the heat of a finger on the glass screen is not suitable for extensive typing. Surface sports a 10.6in screen compared to iPad s 9.7in screen. Other than that, the Surface features USB ports, 2 2 MIMO antennae and MicroSD slots and display outputs whereas the iPad has 30-pin dock connector port.

The Surface is available in two version, one powered by Intel Corp chips whereas another using Nvidia Corp chip designed by ARM Holdings. Both versions will feature fold-out cover which also functions as a keyboard. The first version designed by ARM Holdings is slightly heavier than Apple s new iPad, but slightly slimmer. This version running on Windows RT is just 9.3mm thin, weighs 1.5lbs, includes a built-in kickstand, the first PC with a vapor-deposited PVD magnesium case and will ship in either 32GB or 64GB memory sizes. The Windows RT PC will be available at the time of the Windows 8 general availability estimated in October.

The second heavier version Microsoft s Intel-based Surface tablet will run Windows 8 Pro. Other than that, the Windows 8 Pro version comes with a thickness of 13.5mm, a weight of 1.9lbs, and USB 3.0 support. It is enclosed in magnesium casing and has a built-in kickstand This version will come in 64GB or 128GB storage and will be available 3 months after the ARM version. The Surface differentiates itself with the iPad because its not only meant for web browsing or reading, but also for creating spreadsheets or other documents with extensive typing.

One of the advantages of Android is ability to install your own essential apps like a browser as your preferred default option. For users of Android smartphone, what do you think is the best internet browser. Although the default internet browser can do most of the stuff efficiently, but there are times when it cannot load certain websites due to varying circumstances. Thus, its a good idea to explore other browsers available in the Android market which offers different speed, features, and usability. The browsers are are ordered in a decreasing order according to my preference with the top on being the best.

Opera Mini Web Browser

Opera Mini loads web pages blazing fast and comes with efficient controls put it ahead of all other browsers, thus its not surprising most people claim its the world s fastest mobile browser. One of my favourite features is tabbed browsing which allows users to browse several sites simultaneously. With page sizes, address bars and toolbars that adjust automatically, its as easy as web browsing on a desktop computer. Best of all, Opera Mini is just 755kb in size and helps users to reduce data costs by up to 90 with its unique compression technology.

Dolphin Browser HD

This browser not only delivers speedy web browsing, but also easy to use and performs exceptionally well in high quality graphics. Dolphin Browser is the world s first Gesture, Sonar and Add-on enabled mobile web browser on Android. Sonar means Dolphin listens and allows users use their voice to search on the Internet, share on your favorite social networks, bookmark their favorite website, navigate and more. Dolphin browser is equiped with a wide range of fancy themes, multiple tabs browsing, multi touch zooming and most importantly, vivid sharp graphics.

Skyfire Web Browser

Skyfire enables richer, smarter and more fun mobile web browsing experience. Its also enriched with social features like easy access to Facebook and Twitter news feeds, profiles, friends, inbox, events and places. The Skyfire s Toolbar can be customised based on user s browsing preference. Users will also see more from their searches with video and social results. Its most intriguing feature is the ability to play millions of flash videos from the web that otherwise do not play or play poorly on mobiles.

Maxthon Android Web Browser

Maxthon is quickly gaining popularity due to the fact that its extremely fast and its also smart. Packed with cool features like the ability to sync to the cloud to enable users bookmark always available no matter where they are, Private browsing, Advanced Gesture, Download Manager, Tab browsing and Powerful Personalization, it definitely worth checking out.

Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is one of the most popular browser for web browsing, but unfortunately it is not so popular for mobile web browsing. Users have reported that Mozilla is slow, scrolling is choppy, the interface can be slightly unintuitive at times, delay on refocusing txt and images while zooming and does not support flash. Its better to give other mobile web browsers a try.

Number 1: Apple iPhone 4S

Apple iPhone needs no introduction because its arguably the best phone on the market, especially when everyone is fascinated with Siri Virtual Assistant. Siri on iPhone 4S allows users to use their voice to send messages, schedule meetings, place phone calls, and many more. Running on iOS 5, it brings over 200 new features to iPhone 4S. Although it does not allow many customizations nor packed with the fastest data connection, but it has best in class camera, tons of applications, decent battery life, strong signal strength and stunning display. iPhone 4S is powered by dual core A5 processor which deliver up to two times more power and up to seven times faster graphics. It is also equipped with iSight camera which can capture 8 megapixel resolution and a custom lens with a larger f/2.4 aperture. The camera is also capable of shooting 1080p HD video at 30 frames per second. iPhone 4S takes advantage of iCloud which stores your contents and wireless pushes it to all your devices. iPhone 4S also offers Retina display which enables crisp text, sharp graphics, and stunning images.

Number 2: HTC One X

The HTC One X which will be available from AT T this spring may take the lead as the top Android smartphone with robust hardware, snappy performance, top of the line camera and audio improvements that will take your breath away. The HTC One X encased in polycarbonate unibody design is powered by NVIDIA s Tegra 3 CPU, with a 1.5GHz Super 4-PLUS-1 quad-core processor and an integrated fifth Battery Saver Core. HTC One X also sports a 4.7-inch, 720p HD screen crafted from contoured Corning Gorilla Glass, 32GB internal memory, 1GB RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, 8 megapixel camera with f/2.0 lens and Beats Audio. HTC One X runs on Ice Cream Sandwich with newly streamlined HTC Sense 4.0 UI. Despite not supporting micro SD card, Dropbox is integrated so so users can store all your music, documents and photos without fear of ever losing them again. It is also one of the fastest Android devices around with support for LTE data network from AT T.

Number 3: Nokia Lumia 900

The outlook of Nokia Lumia 900 looks promising and is expected to shake up the smartphone market because it is one of the best of the new smartphones not only among Windows 8 offerings but also among similarly priced Android smartphones. The first 4G LTE Windows Phone with unibody polycarbonate design inherits the sleek form factor on the Nokia N9. The Lumia 900 flexes its muscles through large 4.3 inch AMOLED ClearBlack display, 1.4GHz processor, 8 megapixel camera, long-lasting 1830 mAH battery, 16GB of storage, Wi-Fi and LTE. The rear camera includes Nokia s exclusive Carl Zeiss optics, with large aperture F2.2 and wide angle focal length 28mm for high-quality, uncropped images even in low-light conditions. Lumia 900 runs an updated version of Windows Phone Mango 7.5 that includes support for 4G LTE. On the downside, it runs on just 1.4 GHz single core processor and only have 16 GB of internal storage, though free cloud storage is available through Microsoft s SkyDrive. Nokia faces uphill battle competing with the iPhone and Android but with an alluring price, improved operating system and a surging supply of apps, Nokia may be well on the right path to crafting a compelling comeback story.

Number 4: Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Samsung Galaxy Nexus hogged the limelight because it is the first handset to ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Despite several drawbacks like poor battery life and mediocre 5.0 Megapixel camera, its still one of the best smartphones at the moment with rather high end specifications that include 1.2 GHz dual core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16/32GB of internal storage, generous 4.65 inch Super AMOLED HD 1280 720 Contoured display, and HSPA or LTE support. Galaxy Nexus also features NFC-based sharing with a feature called Androd Beam, face-recognition unlocking, advanced battery and data monitoring options and a lot more that is possible with the enhancements brought by Android 4.0 ICS.

I have been totally obsessed with my iPad 2 for the past nine months. When Apple introduced the new and improved iPad launched on March 7, I was contemplating if i would love my current iPad any lesser. The result, I won t be leaving my iPad 2 for the more tempting successor anytime soon. Although the Apple s latest addition has some modifications, it isn t radically different from last year s model. In simple words, nothing revolutionary to make you fall head over heels over it. If you do not have a tablet and itching to get one soon, then the latest iPad will be difficult to resist if you can afford it. The latest iPad which goes on sale March 16 in the U.S., Canada and 10 other countries, will sell for US 499 to 829. If you re on a tight budget, you might want to consider the iPad 2 which sells for as low as 399.

The main attraction of the latest iPad is its alluring screen quality and support for 4G LTE, with Apple claiming 4G speeds up to 73Mbps. Everything looks crisper, thanks to the higher resolution screen called Retina Display. According to Apple, the new iPad offers four times the resolution of its predecessor. Simply said, shutterbugs, video fanatics or gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the luscious screen. Video games will look even more realistic, attributing to the new A5X processor with quad-core graphic in the latest iPad. Apple claims it s four times faster than NVIDIA s Tegra platform.

Apple also bundled a 5 megapixel illuminated sensor on the rear which they introduced iSight, 5-element lens, IR filter, and ISP built into the A5X processor. The camera is also capable of 1080p video recording with video stabilisation. Although these features can be quite alluring, I feel that its not a strong reason for most people to change to the newer iPad. Common iPad activities such as web surfing, checking email and updating on Facebook and Twitter will look and feel the same on either the old or new model. My thoughts, the new iPad would have been much more attractive if Apple had added Siri, the automated personal assistant found on the iPhone 4S. So, will you abandon your iPad 2 in favour of the latest iPad.

The HTC One X is a massive smartphone, not meant for the faint hearted or feeble handed. HTC One X boasts a generously-sized 4.7-inch 1,280 x 720p resolution HD screen with an SLCD panel behind that curvy Gorilla Glass topping. The screen images appear detailed and visible from every angle even angled up to 80 degrees. The laminated cover glass and touch layer reduces light reflection for mesmerizing sharpness and clarity, whereas the Gorilla Glass protects it from drops, bumps and scratches of everyday use. To view contents on a larger screen, just hook up the device to any TV using HTC s wireless HDMI Media Link HD adapter.

The HTC One X sports a beautifully crafted polycarbonate aka plastic unibody design that showcases its clean lines and seamless construction. HTC has chosen polycarbonate to keep the weight down but exudes the ruggedness of metal. With solid construction, the unibody combines a unique high gloss piano finish and a matte back for a premium look and feel. The HTC One X is blazing fast with the new quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 Mobile Processor for fluid graphics, faster applications and longer lasting battery. Running on 1.5GHz Super 4-PLUS-1 quad-core with an integrated fifth Battery Saver Core and a high-performance 12-Core NVIDIA GPU, users can expect fast and powerful experience on HTC One X. Quad-core processors excel in multi-tasking environments and for rich 3D applications such as gaming. Other tasks that benefit from multi-core chips include video editing and image processing. Web page rendering times should also be slightly faster.

HTC One X also packs the latest incarnation of Google s Android OS, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board, and the latest version of HTC s user interface, Sense 4.0. The new user interface introduces ImageSense, a suite of camera and imaging features with improvements to every part of the camera. HTC One X will also have Beats By Dr. Dre Audio built-in to the hardware and software. Beats Audio on the HTC One X is enabled across the entire multimedia audio experience including apps, offering richer, more authentic sound on music, games, videos and movies. To sum it up, this high-end beast is likely to have a premium pricing due to its quad-core processors, more screen real estate, authentic sound and amazing camera but is it what most people would want, or need.

The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx is the exact same phone as its predecessor Droid Razr, except with a longer lasting battery so that you won t spend your day plugged into the wall. Everything else is still the same, from the stylish design to the powerful performance to the beefed up security. From the exterior, it maintains the same slick and stylish qualities of Droid Razr, despite the added thickness due to the bigger battery. Construction by premium materials, it exudes charm with the aluminum chassis, sculpted glass in the front panel and the Kevlar-coated back. The 4.3-inch Super AMOLED panel 960 x 540 pixels display is crisp and sharp with responsive touchscreen. It does its basic functions such as making calls pretty well, with minimal distortion. Some people even commented that those on the other line sounded very natural, as if they we talking to each other. Its most prominent feature is the generous 3,300 mAh, which is rated at an impressive 21.5 hours of talk time, that s the longest talk time of any 4G smartphone.
